About Long Close Care Home in Bournemouth, Poole, Dorset

Long Close Retirement Care Home was established on the 5th of September 1985, by Keith and his family. Christine Barrow now runs the home and ensures the smooth running of the day to day tasks.

The Home first opened for residents during 1983 and over the years we have had so many wonderful characters live with us.

We increased the size from 10 to 17 residents in 1990 so that a lift could be installed, due to the foresight of the design architect we remain ahead of all changing care regulations with regard to the building.

We have 17 Staff that cover all our needs.

Our commitment to the care of our residents has always been foremost, our staff are by nature caring and of course continually attending training in order to keep up to date.
